When people are unable to resolve their differences, either directly or through lawyers / mediators, taking Court proceedings is available as a last resort.  Important considerations arise as to your chances of success, the costs involved and whether such expense is proportionate to the outcome you are seeking.  (If you are unsuccessful, you may have to pay your opponent’s legal costs as well as your own.)  We are happy to discuss Conditional Fee arrangements and Deferred Fee arrangements.  We will also consider payment of costs from Legal Expenses Insurance (which may be included in your Home Contents / Motor Insurance Policy).

We have extensive experience in family law, personal injury claims, contested Wills, professional negligence matters, recovery of debt, property possession cases, disputes between adjoining landowners, disputes between joint owners of property and declarations of interest in property.  We have access to a variety of specialist lawyers (Counsel) whose expertise can be called upon in more complex or high value cases.
